THE TROUBLE WITH TIKTOK

How to set up TikTok

The Sun Newspaper in London has issued a stark investigation about TikTok, suggesting it is completely unfit for purpose for children, whilst the article is poorly written, there is a strong grain of truth in it. TikTok has grown hugely since its former life ad Music.ly. Now known as TikTok and in Chinese ownership for the last two year.

The problem is quite simple. TikTok’s minimum age is 13, Tiktok does nothing during the sign-up process to check  - meaning huge numbers of children join below the required age with no legal protection. Instagram is Teacher's pet in Facebook, the boss loves Instagram and lavishes praise on them publically.  Instagram is doing really well in terms of advertising and active daily users. Instagram has a billion users and hundreds of millions of active daily users. Some people have even called it, the deal of the century when Zuckerberg bought Instagram for billion dollars in 2012. That's a dollar a user, better than striking oil.

Instagram Threads is a new feature in it's 'Close Friends' option.  The new 'Auto Status' facility is causing a stir. It tells people (close friends) 1. Where you are 2. What you are doing 3.
