David teaches drama and acting. He has taught drama, acting and performing arts subjects to young people of all ages for almost twenty years for various stage schools including Backstage, Stagewise, The Centre for Talented Youth (DCU) and the Irish Film Academy.
More specifically, he has worked with Catholic Youth Care running drama related workshops and creating performance pieces centred around youth issues such as bullying (including internet / cyberbullying), addiction and mental health issues.
That's why he has a strong commitment to working with schools based on these issues.
He has three children aged between 8 and 12, and is therefore quite familiar with the territory. He lives in Arklow.
